HDTV
High Definition Television. HDTV is a catch-all acronym to describe various video standards greater than 480p. HDTV compliant therefore does not necessarily mean full HD but does reflect a higher video quality standard than the tradition 'standard TV' 480p.

HDMI
High Definition Multimedia Interface is multi pin connector found on most modern consumer audio-visual equipment. It can combine high-definition audio and video as well as control signals. It is technically similar to DVI and DisplayPort connectors found on modern computers.
